It’s Montana and the cold weather has hit. What can we look forward to? Roads filled with clueless drivers, endless posts telling us how “cold” it is (with pics to prove it) and young girls pretending that Uggs are actually boots.
As I sat waiting for a stream of cars to take their turn banking, I realized what morons we actually are. With the temps well below zero, we think it is too cold to get out of the car so we will use the drive-thru and stay warm. But, if you are like me, you didn’t have enough sense to warm up the car so you sit in it shivering. But hey, at least we didn’t have to get out in the cold and walk our butts into the bank! And, we don’t even consider the fact that we will have to roll down our window to complete this transaction?!
But seriously, why does this line take SO long? It’s just a simple matter of leaving some cash or taking some, isn’t it? I watched the man in front of me send that plastic tube back 3 or 4 times. Listen up, people! If you don’t have a pen, need a deposit slip, are unaware of your account number or are cashing in sockfuls of change, you ARE NOT ready for drive-thru banking! Park the car and waddle inside. The rest of us “get this crap done” bankers will thank you for it.
